Microsoft said they will check further (but don't know if I will ever hear back) ![]() So neither company will accept any responsibility for support. Acronis was part of that company but no longer is. Seagate is supposed to be a company who could help with their products they sell. THOUGHT MAYBE IF I DOULBE CLICKED IT WOULD OPEN - BUT NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO TELL ME HOW TO DO A SIMPLE RESTORE PERTAINING TO THIS FILE. I DID DRAG AND DROP IT FROM THE HARD DRIVE ON TO MY DESK TOP. No person I can ask. I see I can call Acronis and give them my credit card for help but have no idea what they will charge. I had the Microsoft person on the phone with me at the time. Called Acronis and started a chat and the tech person said he could not help. Seagate could not help because they said at the time I purchased this Seagate Backup Plus, Acronis was with Seagate and now, they are no longer with Seagate. Did not think this was a problem because I had my backup on my Seagate Backup Plus drive.
